I did finish watching Netflix's "The Four Seasons" since recording and uploading. The cliffhanger definitely left me gagged and I don't know how I feel about a series being only just 8 episodes. It was OK when Disney+ did those 6 episode Marvel shows because it didn't take much effort to get through them but when it gets good, I'm just like DAMMIT WHAT DO I DO NOW? And then I end up finding something else to latch onto because it takes a while to come back with a new season and my attention span is so little.
I mentioned reading towards the end of the video, or more specifically as a tool to avoid falling into depression, and I heard on a podcast how (the super hot) Zane Phillips spends a majority of his downtime just reading books and doing boring people stuff. I found that so admirable and relatable because he's like the antithesis of what you would think he'd be doing in his day-to-day life? looking the way he does? with the occasional type of character he portrays? Also, him and his boyfriend are such couple goals and I can only dream... (I'm also kind of salty that "Glamorous" on Netflix didn't get a season 2, he looked so good in that)
So to keep mental clarity, I will eat well, exercise, read more and try to rest well. It's OK to be on social media but don't dwell in it. I have to remind myself to not sulk because of what other people are doing compared to me. I don't have to try and fit in to be liked, and people who long for an aura, energy, personality like mine will find me.
Well anyway, I'm currently reading Marvel's "Phoenix" (2024-) by Stephanie Phillips. Most of the graphic novels or comics I've been trying to read nowadays are so hard to engage in that I never finish them. This one right now, I'm sort of leaning towards ditching it but I also want to give it a try...I'm like halfway through the 2nd issue...I'll just finish it after publishing this...
If y'all have any graphic novel recommendations, I'm open. Just don't recommend Harry Potter length books because I don't have the attention span and I'll probably abandon updating my YouTube and OF as a result, if I do end up being hyper fixated on reading a multiple novel length series.
As always, thanks for being a subscriber, a renewed subscriber, or a returning subscriber. It's really cool to see your support and interest in my videos and there will surely be more to come :)
