My apologies once again. Meant to get something up Monday and ...I don't remember what happened that day. Oh yes, went out after work to some friends house to watch the college football championship game. Then yesterday my daughter was taken to the hospital with some issues with her pregnancy. She is fine, the baby is fine. They just kept her for observation for a few hours before they released her and I didn't get home until late.
Today I had work and IMMEDIATELY after work I went to dinner with some family. They wanted to treat me to an early birthday dinner and it was either today or Friday (my birthday is this Fri the 24th). Didn't want to tie up my Fri with a family dinner so today it was.
So my husband and I have not been to any lifestyle parties (aka swingers parties) for over a year. Just with moving to our new house early last year there was alot of expense involved, several home improvement projects, him taking a new roll at work several months ago, my severe car troubles last year, my daughter getting pregnant, we just didn't take much time for us or feel like we should spend the money on that.
The local club we used to frequent alot closed about 2yrs ago so we mostly have gone to their hotel takeover parties. The closest ones of those are about 2.5-3hr away. And to be honest it's not cheap. A typical weekend will run about $1k between travel expenses, 2 nights at a very upscale hotel, the cost to attending the party, food, alcohol, generally a new outfit or 3, it definitely gets very spendy.
Well we have decided since Valentine's Day falls on a Friday this year we are going to attend their hotel takeover party that weekend. I have already bought a few outfits in anticipation of wearing 1 on Friday, one on Saturday, but I'm not sure which day I'll wear what. But this is outfit #1. I will post outfit #2 tomorrow. And maybe there will be a "late night" outfit or 2 I change into as the clock gets closer to midnight and the real fun begins. 😉
