This use to happen to me a lot before I found my regular chiro I see. I’m not sure what triggered this painful situation this time around but I decided I was still going to go adventuring this weekend... I grabbed a patch for my shoulder and neck and decided to get on with the trip. Since it was planned with friends I didn’t want to be a no show. We get to our cabin and it smells like someone’s smoked in it AND I smelled pe3 soon as I walked in the door. Ended up figuring out it was the couch it smelled like someone pe3d directly on it-not a joke. We set the cushions outside and called after hours number. Still haven’t heard back from them today. G R O S S. The icing on the cake is how bad the mattress was. Not sure I got a wink of sleep and now my lower back hurts as much as my shoulder and neck. So now today we’ve all booked a hotel instead and are having to move everything that had been unloaded and drive somewhere else. Putting a real kink (not the good kind) in the weekends plans by having to take the extra time to do this. At this time I hope that we get a refund on our cabin and the new hotel is going to be better amenities. Now I have to go buy a bathing suit as none of us brought one with us as we didn’t intend to be swimming we intended to be hiking in the woods. I myself will take advantage of the hot tub. I’m like a rigged board and can’t move my neck too much. 🥲 Plans change... lol Hope your weekend is a little less painful and smells a whole lot better. This Goddess is not enthused currently but I will try to find the silver lining.
