💭 Do you believe in monogamy and marriage, and the idea the person you're with is "yours" or do you believe that it is important to see/talk to more than one person for sexual pleasure?
Looking at the marriage statistics alone, you'll know my answer. And it's not that I don't think marriage can work great, but for most people, long term... It doesn't seem to. Why? Because things change. Often times people become too comfortable, complacent, and stop putting in the effort they once did into their relationships, and into the sexual side of it too. Although you can never return to the honeymoon stage, if you keep putting in the effort you did at that time or introduce new, exciting things to your sex life that will most likely keep the spark alive. Whether it is just with that one person, or others. It's really important to build a strong connection and understanding, to really know what the other wants and needs. I am really into the idea of being with other people, while in a relationship, it would be swell to have a life partner but I will always want to be experimentive with others on my sexual journey through life.
Thoughts? - Ps. Please don't take offense to this if you are married, it's just one gals opinion, but she does think the whole thing is a little outdated. (;❤
