After a long day of work, I come home and do more work on here. Some days I am so tired, I feel the world caving in on me but other days I see how much I am appreciated here and it fills me to the brim with happiness. Ohhh it's Earth day! Everyday is Earth day anyways buuuut might as well highlight a few 🔑 things I do to be kinder to her everyday:
I eat only veg, fruit, legumes and grains! I'm a veg head mostly because I love animals way too much to eat them, but also to lessen the negative impact I have on this planet & be healthier too. Let me know if you try a good vegan meal, I love to hear it as this is such a huge passion of mine.
Composting all my food scraps! Composting is so great, if there wasn't so many bears I'd love to have one in my backyard... maybe I'll look into bear proofing one in the future!
Planting/hanging flowers outside that the bees/insects/birds can pollinate! I love watching them when they visit. Our pollinators are so important and we must help them so they keep our crops abundant!
And lastly, something I'm striving to do more is not rely on my car as much and ride my bike more often to get groceries and such because it's really so enjoyable when the weather is nice and alot better for myself and the planet!
Ps. Those dummies from the world health organization who say to have shorter showers to lessen impact... Guess how much water it takes to make 1 cheeseburger.... heh look it up if you care. But anyways just know taking shorter showers is not worth it and I encourage you to enjoy your shower and maybe just eat meat 1 less day a week... but hey I'm just a crazy vegan. Do what makes you happy, life is too short not to but remember it always starts with one and we can't keep relying on the other guy anymore. Without a healthy planet, we really have nothing. 🌎💚
